definitely some NY state schools... a bunch of my friends hung out w/ some girls we were friendly with in HS, and one girl was bragging about how shes a charter members for ABC at her campus... and when i said i was in Pi Phi she said, "oh, thats a local, right?" and i explained that no, its a national sorority and its actually one of the first. and then about 20 min later she again mentions that pi phi *has* to be a local because shes never heard of it. (there are lots of sororities and fraternities ive never heard of till i came on greekchat!)
that night i looked it up and it turns out my chapter is older than her entire sorority! not that theres anything wrong with being a local, but it'd be nice for people to know that pi phi even exists!
