Tax free weekend is something NC start a few years back, I think (I'm not orginally from here) During that weekend, you do not get charged sales tax for clothes, athletic equipement, school supplies and computers. It really doesn't help out unless you are doing a ton of shopping. The clothes has limit of $100 per item, so that knocked out those Citizen for Humanity I wanted!
