my roomate wasn't in a sorority and we lived in our pseudo-hall. we wanted to live together. we wanted to be in a certain quad, which was where our hall was, and we would be able to choose our room instead of going into the lottery. it was never an issue that she wasn't in a sorority and there were actually a few people in the hallway that weren't in sororities.
