I choose a local for two reasons; one, and probably the most important, my friends knew the girls who started it. (I was in the first pledge class!!) Secondly, beginning Univeristy is hard and strange. I rushed, in September of my first year, and since I trust my friends, I trusted the people they trusted, so I went with the one local sorority on campus. Even though I am not a founding member of the sorority, I feel very proud of how I have helped shape it and hope that in 13 years from now, we will be international!
