Now, Delta Zeta's NM manual is called "Delta Zeta and You" but when I pledged in 1985 the same book was called "The Pledge Handbook"

Son of the Stars: the Pledge Manual of Beta Theta Pi
We're still pledges, even at the international level, and it is a tradition I'm glad we still keep - "new members" implies, to me at least, a little too much certainty that one will become an initiated member of an organization.

Oh, my gosh! I just went through new member ed this past fall, and I didn't realize it had a name other than the NM manual. Talk about observant, huh?

Paedagogus, Lambda Chi Alpha. 
The Paedagogus, was the teacher of the New Students. Not a book, but The Teacher.
It is a Book that teaches the New Associates about LXA and what BrotherHood Means in LXA!
History of LXA, Lists all of the NIC, NPC, NHPC, and Some MCPCs.
