It's probably because girls are "joiners". We love being a part of something. In most cases girls don't really have to know anyone in a particular club or sorority to go out and rush, granted it's more fun to rush when we do it with friend

I've learned that guys rush/join those house where their friends are. I'm not saying that guys are scared to go it alone, but it's just an easier transition for guys to do it that way.

That's probably why there are more girls checking out sororities then there are guys checking out fraternities.

Just give it time. I know it's kind of discouraging to see all the sororities have full tables of girls getting information, but it will happen. When guys do come by, think of them as lil' bros and take an interest and make friends with those guys that you think will make great borthers.

That's kind of what my chapter did, we pinpointed certain girls that we met at orientation and through different summer programs and we kept in touch with them over the summer and it really helps we initiated some quality girls with which we had already established great realtionships.

That's just my .1993 worth.
