I have to agree with ktsnake on this point (stop the presses!)
Bush isn't intelligent. He's the very picture of an anti-intellectual -- but he's FAR from dumb. He's at least smart enough to surround himself with people who have the political savvy that he lacks, and that's all he apparently needed to steal -- er -- win the election in 2000.
