You see, you've assumed something will happen without really having any basis for the assumption - the US will guard Saddam exceptionally well, probably more so than any other prisoner in recorded history (ok, I can't support this claim; it's hyperbole friend).

I'm not trying to be a 'butthead' or anything - please don't quit greekchat.com . . . but you're begging the question a bit, saying A is true b/c A is true, and you'll get some pretty witty retorts to logical fallacies in this particular sector.

he's there...he's arraigned and he still thinks he's president of iraq and claims he did nothing.

The policy as far as media relations with his trial has been very interesting. They are allowing pictures to show that he has been well treated, but no audio -- the theory is that with no audio, he can't motivate his supporters or pass along orders.

Another good move. They would be too easy to intimidate/corrupt otherwise. And in the climate down in Iraq, I'm worried about that happening anyhow.
