Well, no one has replied...so,
any updates? Have they approached you about taking the position?
The way I see it is, the worst thing that could happen by you trying to get the promotion would be that you didn't get it. Which of course is not that bad! At least then they'll know you're interested in progressing upward through the company, so when the next promotion comes around, you'll more than likely be considered as a candidate. Make sense?
