Why not just turn the Israelis loose on Iran (or at least threaten them with this). If they can no longer be a responsible citizen of the world, we can no longer guarantee their protection and safety from those very well-armed folks to their west. I'm sure that given a chance, Israel would just love to blow some stuff up. They're very good at that. Maybe 2nd only to the US.
