That isn't true. The father of two of the children was there, he died along w/ them as he tried to save them. From the article:

Regardless, the situation is certainly very sad, but I hope that it has no affect on whether the Water Gardens flows again in the future. Lets hope that its the first & only drownings the Water Gardens ever experiences.
