Foxwoods vs. Mohegan Sun

So my parents are in town and we wanna go to a casino. I live in Providence, so we are close to both Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun, neither of which I have been to.

Has anyone been to either one? Which is better? Any recommendations?

I have to admit that I've never been to Mohegan Sun, but Foxwoods is great. Very big, lots to see and do, tons of gambling. And I'm a poker player, so I can only go to Foxwoods because Mohegan Sun got rid of their tables last year.

My biggest recommendation is to not go on a Saturday night because it's going to be very very busy. If you do slots, you'll have to separate, and the tables are all full.

I am from Connecticut but I go to school in Texas. But whenever I visit home I go to both casinos (mostly to get out of the house and keep from going crazy) And my mom is a dealer at Foxwoods. Foxwoods is bigger and older and its true I do go there to play Poker, But Mohegan is nice for Black Jack and Slots. Either one is a good time.

Neither are that great but I'd rather be at Foxwoods.

I thought Mohegan was better; better environment, better crowd. Thought Foxwoods was ok, but Mohegan was slightly better.

ETA: Pasta, where are you from in CT? I'm originally from CT as well.

I Grew up in Newington and Hartford and then I moved and went to Wethersfield Highschool

We just left CT for Memorial Day. We went To Mohegan. New and improved. Packed house, new hotel, lots of stores. Gambling was bad for me.
