I had always been interested in joining a fraternity because I was born here and had always been around greek life...
The person who really influenced me to sign AKL was my friend Ryan... He is a year older than me and went to high school with me... Delta Gamma had their anchor splash at the pool I worked at, and I ran into Ryan there... He invited me to lots of rush events and truly showed me a good time...
I also checked out a lot of other fraternities on campus, but this one seemed to be a great match... Awesome guys, Ryan, great reputation, awesome at sports, great house and location... Plus it was fairly new on campus (1992) so that meant there was room for even more improvement...
So yup, thats why I decided to sign.
I'll also be starting school in the fall like you.
