Well it completely depends. I dated this guy once that was absolutely wonderful. He was about to me when we started dating and I just couldn't do the long distance thing again. I have had too many bad experiences with that. I would see him periodically when he came to visit and we would see each other for a little while and then fade back into our lives again. I have been trying for about 1 year to set him up with a friend of mine. They each other when I dated him and that is why she finds it weird.
