This wasn't exactly how I planned on spending my 21st... I'm in the hospital for a Crohn's Disease flare, so the only partying I've done is drinking flat 7-Up in a plastic margarita glass and sneaking a piece of cake when my Gastroenterologist wasn't looking. I got a slap on the wrist for that one, but I figure it's my day and I can eat cake if I want to.
I did end up paying homage to the porcelain gods, but that was at 11am because of an allergic reaction to anti-nausea meds they put in my IV 
The day shift staff here sang Happy Birthday and I've gotten more than enough phone calls and visits from family. All in all it wasn't a bad day, considering I'm stuck on a geriatric ward. Thanks for the love, guys (even if it is a little belated  )
