1975 Dodge Dart: smallest 8-cylinder car ever made... Detroit's joke of the mid 70s (when gas was CHEAP). Got about 10 mpg took me to Daytona for spring break and to clinical sites while I was in college.

1982 Chevy Chevette: all I could afford as a new college grad but working nights at an inner-city hospital needed something that was not stylish and would start. No A/C. AM radio -- really, really basic transportation

1985 Chevy Cavalier: Moved up a little... now I had A/C and an FM radio (WOO HOO!!) but by the time I got to grad school 1990, the heater died (ever tried driving in Michigan in January with no heat??? I had to scrape the inside of the windshield!)

1993 Saturn SL-2: Working heater/ AC and am/fm/ cassette. Loved it! That is until I knocked the mirror off for the 3rd time so it wouldn't pass inspection in NC

2000 Saturn LS-1: little bigger, now I have a cd player too-- made the 12 hour drives home easier.

2003 Saturn L200: OK, so I like Saturns... Lots more bells and whistles (6 cd changer, automatic climate control, automatic lights) how I could get this for less than my payments on the 2000 car I don't understand but hey, I'm a nurse, not a car salesman.
