Metro Atlanta is overcrowded mainly because a lot of people moved here and the area was not equipped for the population. It is not a bad city, but the boom is pretty much over in my opinion. There are still decent jobs and companies out here, but you really have to market yourself here since there are plenty of people here with the same degrees, skills, and amount of work experience.

People are still moving here thinking that their lives will magically change for the better. It doesn't work like that. If you were a janitor with no education or skills in Montgomery or Macon, then you will still be a janitor in Atlanta with higher rent to worry about.

Unlike some, I saw Black politicians, Black businesses, Black homeowners, etc. way before I ever moved to Atlanta, so that aspect doesn't impress me either.
