Right now DDD is scheduled for a colonization of an existing group and two ground up colonizations (one is a recolonization). The schools they're going to are not huge. So it might not be as taxing as it appears, esp for a group like DDD which has ample resources. Now if they were ground up colonizing 3 Big 10 schools, I would say they (or any sorority) were nuts.
Yup. Tri Delta is colonizing a local at Lake Forest, recolonizing at Butler, and doing a ground-up at Eastern Illinois. I think Lake Forest and Eastern Illinois will be relatively small chapters at relatively small Greek systems, whereas Butler and Elon would be larger. Also, Butler might be a spring colonization, now that I think of it, so there wouldn't be as much conflict there if that's the case.

Most of the times when a sorority launches a new chapter at a BIG school -- I am thinking of the recent colonizations at Florida, UCF, or similar -- they will stick to one or maybe two a year, but at smaller schools I think things are different.
