What is funny, if you factor in as my Chapter does, we try to beat the housing price of the dorms and rental housing.
Food service is different as we do not have eating facilities.
1. Guys can sign up for food sevice with the School.
2. Eat out, but gets way to expensive.
3. Have a caterer come in as several of the Chapters do. ( Usually, this is for dinners only 4 days a week with continental breakfast).
4. Fix own in the House.
As Greeks, it is hard to fit in all cost to be comparative, but what is received is well worth it.
1. Brotherhood/Sisterhood.
2. Learning how to do specfic officer jobs for later years upon Graduation.
3. Networking after Graduation.
4. Having Friends for a life time.
5. Having a reason to return to School on special occasions.
How much is the above 5 really worth? Zillions!
