Actually my boyfriend and I thought it was a little better. Well, I must admit I saw bits and pieces of Silence of the Lambs. But that was because it didn't grab me. My boyfriend saw the whole movie. I thought I wouldn't like Hannibal. But it was pretty good. I also liked Julianne Moore better than Jodie Foster.
