Halle Barry as Catwoman: She wants to make a sequel!

I saw the promo last night. I MUST see this movie.



Patience Philips is a woman who can't seem to stop apologizing for her own existence. She works as a graphic designer for Hedare Beauty, a mammoth cosmetics company on the verge of releasing a revolutionary anti-aging product. When Patience inadvertently happens upon a dark secret her employer is hiding, she finds herself in the middle of a corporate conspiracy. What happens next changes Patience forever. In a mystical twist of fate, she is transformed into a woman with the strength, speed, agility and ultra-keen senses of a cat. With her newfound prowess and feline intuition, Patience becomes Catwoman, a sleek and stealthy creature balancing on the thin line between good and bad. Like any wildcat, she's dangerous, elusive and untamed. Her adventures are complicated by a burgeoning relationship with Tom Lone, a cop who has fallen for Patience but cannot shake his fascination with the mysterious Catwoman, who appears to be responsible for a string of crime sprees plaguing the city.

Girl, nevermind, I guess. I can't find the link I clicked on from MSN the other day. Maybe only internet sites pulled the trailer. The article made it seem like the movie was so bad they weren't going to release it. People crackin' on her costume. Haters. Anyway, if they played the preview on TV, it gotta be comin' out. I'll wait to see the preview.

I heard the same thing to. I also HEARD that she missed a major PR event for the movie because it was getting bad reviews and the movie was about to be pulled. But I cannot find the real true.

The Skinny: We were worried when we heard one-named Frenchman Pitof, whose sole credit is the Gerard Depardieu stinker "Vidocq," was directing this $100 million adaptation of the DC Comics icon. But true fear set in when we saw pics of Halle in the most ridiculous costume since Elvis hit Vegas (come on, no self-respecting superhero kicks ass in open-toed shoes). Internet chatter has "Catwoman" pegged as a "Gigli"-sized disaster, but even if doesn't turn out to be a giant hairball, we'd rather wait and cough up our hard-earned cash for next year's more traditional "Batman Begins."
