OMG I had the absolute worst bangs in history up until freshman year of high school. I had the ones that were just cut straight across your forehead and I wore them all curly and poofy and ewww...yuck.
I grew them out though finally and then like Kath I started wearing them again as soon as I began cheering, but they weren't as heavy. I just needed some wispy but poofy ones to match my outrageous ponytail that was teased and curled within an inch of its life and then tied with a big bow. MAN, I miss those days of cheerleading. I think everyone on my squad went through at least two cans of hair spray a piece every week. It was definitely bad news.
I really like the wispy side swept bangs that are popular right now, but I have a medium/small forehead so bangs in any form just do not work for me.
But if one can pull them off I think the side swept ones look really cute!!!
