Question

I have a question about a pregnancy test.. I know I have always heard that you wait until you are late and then take it to find out if you are pregnant. Could you take one like a week or 2 after you think you might be and would it still give you accurate response?? Or do you have to wait until you are late? Just curious.

Although Ive never taken one, I have seen a lot of commercials on them lately for some reason. I have heard there is a test out there that can predict when your pregnant before your peirod would start so Id go out and check all the tests out. I know there is one that can do what youre looking for, but no idea the name of it.

Try First Response. I think it does up to a week early.

Also, you can do a search on pregnancy tests, and it will tell you the brands and their sensitivity. For example, some of the brands are as capable as others in predicting results as soon as others. It all depends on the amount of HGC it detects. Some will tell at 15, some 25, others 50, etc. So, it's great to know their sensitivity. If you take one that's not sensitive you can get a false negative, b/c it was designed to read higher levels than what you would be producing at an early date.

But, definitely do some research online so that you can find a test that's appropriate for early use.
