The whole deal is: I am Independent. I am a member of an organization that is functioning like a sorority right now. We are functioning like a sorority (but not calling ourselves such) because we plan to, in the not too distant future, petition a national Asian-American women's sorority for the colonization of our group. In our application, we have to show characteristics of sisterhood/bonding, community service, scholarship, and leadership within the group, both as individuals and as a whole.
