I actually saw the original 1975 version with my older sister a couple of weeks ago (We were at Blockbuster and she was intruiged - apparently someone on the show "The Apprentice" called someone else a "Stepford Wife" and my sister & I decided to watch the movie to see exactly what that meant)

It was pretty hilarious and really WEIRD! I highly recommend seeing the original!!!

I will probably see the remake to see what they changed.

I don't think the 2004 version will have the same effect... there's something about the way they looked in the 70s and the 70's way of making films that gives it that eerie feeling that something just isn't right..
