Virtual Violets Yahoo Group
Hey guys.
I just wanted to give y'all the link to the yahoo Virtual Violets group. (This is what we are calling the online AA).
Feel free to encourage other sisters to join.
The one thing I ask is that if you are going to encourage sisters to join or put the link on a listserv of some kind that you email me with the girls' email addresses. This will make approving the sisters much easier, otherwise I will have to email every one of them asking them to verify their chapter and school.

It has since been changed and we are now awaiting approval from GC to make it a true alum association.

I talked to the Alum Development Director Chair and she was telling me how excited the GC and Chairmen were in discussing this new group at the recent strategic meeting.
Violets to our "Virtual Violets!" How's it going? Will you be creating a website?

We will be creating a website.
Right now Shannan and I are in the process of writing a 'personal' letter to the members of GC. The proposal I sent them was just that. Very straight to the point. We wanted this 'proposal' to be sisters personal thoughts about the association and things we have strategized about and accomplished. New members and whatnot.
If anyone else is interested in joining please feel free to go to the yahoo group and join. Just please send me an email in advance so that when I get the approval notice I will recognize the email address.

Yes PLEASE all alum, I encourage you to all join the online alum assoc. Hopefully, very soon we will be approved and moving forward with this awesome idea. It is def a great way for all alums all over to get to know each other and we have so many ideas coming that everyone would enjoy. Its so simple to join.
We are proposing to have Online meetings for the assoc, once we get approved, once a month in a big online chat. That way everyone knows whats going on for the month and can see all the great things we hope to accomplish. Were hoping to get a ton of people interested in this and and time commitment wont be bad....
Please really plan to join, I promise, itll be worth it...
