One way we could handle the number of times the candle passes around our circle is by you just stating how many times it went around. Use whatever number is appropriate for the event you wish to celebrate.... so if you got engaged you could say "On the third pass, I blow it out" or whatever.
Just make sure you start the candle passing again in that same post for the next person who needs to blow it out.

I think this is the best way! The next time the sister who got lavaliered/got a ring, she should announce how many times it's gone around, and blow it out!

Well I don't know who this one was for, but I'm going to blow it out on the second round because I received a promise ring this past Christmas and haven't gotten to share the news with any of my sisters yet!! (hoping the engagment ring is soon to follow )
