Okay, I actually read the website now (most of it) and this show seems like it will actually be alright! From a general search, it seems as though there are 198 actual semi-finalists, so my boy has a decent shot at making the final twelve.
I am wondering why this is on Showtime, though. Seems like more people would watch if it were on a broadcast network.
