For myself, I find that my sorority experience left me with time management skills I could never give up. Also a sense of sisterhood that I never felt before (my half sister is too much older than me to be close.. and being a science geek I hung out with mainly guys)...Also being part of ADPi made me want to get more involved in campus... I look at friends I have outside of the sorority and many of them did not get involved in college.. I on the other hand was involved in many outside activities.
Outside of myself, greeks are very involved in the community and on campus... Between community service and holding leadership positions on campus...
Also your sisters (be they from your chapter or ones you meet online) they will always be there for you...
