Post breast cancer

I recently lost someone due to breast cancer I was wondering if any of you have experienced this or may be living with it. What is your situation?

I am very sorry to hear about your loss.

I havent lost anyone directly in my family, but 2 of my neos (and another neo from my sister chapter) have all lost their moms to cancer. And my sands had a benign lump removed from her chest.

I dont do well with tragic events and i'm even worse at trying to console others.... but i will try to do my part in fighting this disease, i'll be participating in the los angeles Revlon Run/Walk here in Los Angeles next month

My heart goes out to you and your family. I have not lost any family members to cancer but I have went through two battles with my grandmother and aunt. They told our family that neither one one would make it much longer but they are both still here today. I give my highest honor to GOD to be able to say say that today. If you need someone to talk to e-mail me anytime at craignem2000@yahoo.com. Also the LORD will not give you more than you can bare.

i am very sorry to hear about your loss.

during the regional conference, we had a workshop on breast cancer awareness and i was very shocked at how widespread it was.

i have never been much of a person to check on my own health. however, my mother has had two surgerys (forgive the spelling) to remove benign lumps in her chest.

she was not yet 40 at the time.

now that u have experienced this, you can help spread the word about breast cancer awareness.

do your monthly self-breast examination.
get your yearly mammograms if you are 35 (i think) or older.

this is very importance!!

if u have more info (or need to correct any information) then please share.

and once again i am truly sorry about your loss.

Code Blue,

I'm sorry I am just now seeing this. I am sorry about your loss. I have lost my father and many members of his family to cancer. I had surgery myself for cancer 5 years ago and last summer I found a lump (benign). I am now in a cancer control group where I will get a thorough exam and a mammogram every year. Not to be putting all my business out there but I want this to help someone. I am only 37 years old!! So my advice is to be aware and take care of yourself no matter what your age.

Oh my goodness I hope you are okay. My advice is to pray and keep your focus on God and your healing.
