I agree about reading it. Even if you skim it or ask someone who has read it about it.
I know I was disaffiliated from ADPi and serving as a Rho Chi taking potentials aorund to all the sorority houses for recruitment in fall 02 right after the first Sorority Life on MTV aired. I know we brushed up on it and made sure we were well aware of the things going on so when the potentials or parents had questions we could answer them and not sound stupid.
I know noone wants to buy this ladys book so Id suggest putting your name on the library list for it or one sister buying it and letting everyone borrow it to read. This way she doesnt make as much money, but you still can read it so you are prepared.
Believe me we had a lot of questions in my active time in ADPi. Some girls think of some tough questions to ask or ask things to see if it gets a rise out of chapters. Its good to know and be prepared for it all. I know of some girls who try to pull a well this sorority said this about you guys or I heard this from tv or something and its good to be educated so you dont fall into the traps and come out on top gettting those awesome sisters. We dont want to lose girls from all this crap so we have to be prepared.
