Red face "pledged"

i was just wondering if anyone has heard or read the book called "pledged:secret life of sororities". I am reading it at the moment, and i was wondering if anyone had any thoughts about it.

I haven't read it, but I've heard mixed reviews on it. I'm thinking I should go sit at Border's tomorrow and read it....let us hear your thoughts on it.

Sorry to crash......
I have not read it and not sure if i want to but my suggestion is to go to borders, or Barnes and read it there or go check out the library i wouldn't spend money on it to increase her popularity!

That's a good idea, I may just go to the library tomorrow night and read it...dunno if Border's wants me crashing their couches.

I think that it was stupid of them to actually point out specific nationals chapters in there. They actually put some of their "supposed" ritual stuff in there and I hope that for the other chapter's sakes that it was fake. Anyways, I agree with not buying it to support her and though it was interesting, definitely not the norm.

I am reading the book right now and I don't know if I am just not far along in it or waht but it isn't that bad. Yes it does mention some sorority names. The people she talkes about though are in a made up sorority. She doesn't actually tell the correct chapter name and stuff like that. I know that my chapter wasn't exactly like what she is writing about but there are some similar things that make the book interesting to me. Just remember that this is one chapter that she talks about and that not all sororities and chapters are the same way. She makes that quite clear at the beginning of the book.

If anyone else is reading the book, please let me know what you think. I just think it isn't right to judge the book without reading it first and seeing what she really says.
