I agree! I actually don't see any other logical platform for the reparations activists other than the issues TonyB06 mentioned, i.e. health care, education, jobs etc. etc. etc. Improvements in these areas are precisely what we have been asking for the entire time. That would literally REPAIR the damage that has been done to our social progression. Of course, IMO.

...I'll say it anyway:

I cringe at the thought of Blacks actually getting cash reparations. Truth be told, a lot of us aren't good at managing large sums of cash at one time in a prudent manner--not just Blacks, mind you, people in general.

The reparations skit on Chappelle's Show comes to mind...

ETA: Shoot, if the government cancels my student loans (~$30K), I'll be satisfied on that alone. I don't need a whole lotta money to fritter away on.
