If you are wanting to stay on the other side of the Harbor Bridge right on North Beach, there are several places you can try. Here are a few: Holiday Inn Emerald Beach, Best Western Marina Grand Hotel, Radisson Beach.
If you'd rather stay on the city side, on the same side as the Omni, the only other place I can think of downtown is Ramada Bayfront.
If you want something inland, or out on North Padre Island beach, I can suggest some other places, just PM me. Most people go out to N. Padre Island beach rather than North Beach and there are lots of condominiums out there. Good luck!
