try it again. just take it slow. dont try to get back full swing or anything. people change alot in 13 months, more than likely he will be a completely different guy. its just like dating anyone else. if yall broke it off and came back and still have feelings you may want to try it again. dont wake up in ten years unhappy where you are in life and wonder what it would have been like if yall would have given it another shot. some people miss out on a good thing because of pride or something stupid. good luck. just follow your heart.
