Need motivation? See http://www.mypetfat.com and order a blob of body fat (replica) to carry around with you to remind you of why you're trying to lose weight in the first place.
This is what 5 lbs. of fat looks like:
To think.. I've lost 32 of these. God. I'm SO glad I decided to go to WW!

Well...
I have been sliding with my WW but am getting back on track this week. I am still down 9 pounds since I started. Tonight, since I should be home at a decent hour for a change, I am sitting down and mapping out a REALISTIC exercise schedule based on my limit time availability that I will hopefully stick to.
WIsh me luck!

My update
I'm still loosing, although very slowly. It's all good though, because I am close to doing what I will do for the "maintainance" phase for the last 2- 3 weeks. I had a burrito, McDonald's, Chick-fil-a and BREAD over that span of time. Currently, I've lost a total of 20 lbs. I will be kicking it back in high gear next week so I can drop at least another 5 - 8 lbs before our "challenge" at work is over. Including this Friday I have 4 more weigh-ins until that $300.00 is MINE!!!

Ok... Here is my dilemma....
I got the lovely "baby fat" that im trying to get rid of. Not the baby fat that everyone associates with being chubby when born... it's the fat left on the mama of the chubby babies. These mama thighs and gut are just not cutting it and im not sure how to get rid of them. Before I was pregnant I lost 35 lbs in 3 months ( not in a healthy way... stress ) and loved it ( the weight loss... not the stress. So when I got pregnant my body went into overdrive to make up for the drastic weight loss and for the baby. So I have gain a wooping 50lbs while pregnant cant seem to lose it. You get so used to snacking while pregnant that it's a hard habit to break.
Q: For all post pregum's Sorors and SF out there.... How do I get rid of this baby fat?
It's getting hotter and im trying to be sexy fine ( in a cool mommy kinda way)

Eating less, working out, and dedication. Seriously - that's all it takes to get in shape. Once you make up your mind to not accept the status quo, the weight will come off.
However, I know that pregnant women have different challenges because of skin stretching, so you may not have your pre-pregnancy body. But anything is possible -- the key is to just DO IT.
Good luck!

I've just recently lost about 20lbs but I wasn't on any particular diet. Instead of catching the bus to class, I powerwalked, and instead of eating 3 times a day, I ate twice a day and maybe a light snack in between. When I get lunch now, I usually grab a salad, soup and a wheat roll. Also, I cut out a very bad habit of mine which was ordering food at 1 and 2 o'clock in the morning and then going to bed. The rewards of watching what you eat are worth it. Best wishes to everyone!

Summer time and so this thead is BACK!
I'm with y'all! I haven't gained any weight, but I have lost a bit of muscle and replaced it with - *gasp* fat. I want my 6-pack back in time for Mr. LI84's sister's wedding in July, so I will be trying to get my workout shedule re-started!
Plans:
1. Exercise 3 days/week at LEAST. 2 days MINIMUM of weights (upper/lower body split) followed by 30-40 minutes of cardio and one day of just cardio
2. Watching what I eat. My diet is not bad at all, I eat a lot of veggies and fruits, whole grains, etc. Unfortunately I also eat a lot of chocolate and cookies, lol. I just have to start drinking less juice, cutting back with the sweets (VERY difficult when you go into Whole Foods and they are waving those cookies under your nose) and puttig the protein back! Dating a vegetarian has had a HUGe effect on my protein intake and i am trying to get back into the habit of having protein shakes for breakfast and regular portions of lean protein during the day.
3. Upping my activity level. This is easy, since the weather is nice. Instead of going to the bookstore after work, I'll go for a walk. I can go to the train station that is a bit farther away from work in the afternoons, and take the stairs instead of the elevator. Mr. LI84 lives 15 minutes away from the beach, perfect for walking, biking or any outdoor activities. He is REALLY active, so he is always up for a walk or a hike (although he is laboring under the delusion that I will go ROCK CLIMBING with him- I seriousl doubt this will ever happen)
I am not planning on any drastic changes, just going to cut back and be active.
What happened to all the folks on the Weight Watchers plan, and the folks who were starting out at Bally's?
Hellooooooooooooooooo! Are you out there!

I slacked off and now it's time to get back to the matter at hand. I MUST lose weight. How is everyone else doing with their weight loss?
