i'll be rushing next semester too, & thought i'd throw in my two cents
i too did research about the sorority i'm interested in. i think one thing the girls were surprised about was that every once in a while i'd ask a fact i'd already know in the form of a question, ex: "isn't your mascot __?" that always shows them how interested i am. another thing is to inquire about certain events you may be able to go to such as dinners or open socials. just like the others said, be yourself!! i'm sure you can find someone to click with and they may turn out to be a great friend, whether you rush or not, i know i have. hope that helps.
