I almost did enter a beauty pagaent three years ago. I used to volunteer for the Miss Omaha/Miss Douglas County Pagaent which is part of the Miss America Organization. The only thing stopping me was time. I didn't feel I had enough time to devote to it and not enough time to get a talent ready and get in prime physical shape (cuz let's face it, I am not walking out onto a stage in a swimsuit unless I look DAMN good)
Would I let my future daughter enter one...yes, but not until she was older. I do not feel it's right to enter small children and teens in beauty pagaents. And furthermore, I'd only participate in Miss America Organization because they do give out scholarships and base results on more than just looks...like you have to have a platform, good grades, good interview, etc.
If you could shop at any big name store in the US, where would you shop and what would you buy there? (for fun, let's say you had a thousand bucks to spend).
