uh uh!! Y'all have hit on a serious pet peeve!!
First, this comes from one who has had a pager and lives on her phone!!
Seriously, though. The ONE time I have had my pager on in class (and it was on vibrate) was when I was expecting news about a sick relative. My phone stays on vibrate, and I almost always turn it off during class, church, or plays. I HATE when cells go off during performances. this one sista actually ANSWERED the phone, DURING the play, and CONVERSED!!!
I was hot.
The funniest wedding story (which foretold the results of this union) was at my cousin's wedding. The groom's phone went off at the beginning of the reception. and he stayed on the phone for 15 minutes. Never mind the rest of the dais, the guests, introductions, etc. He just chilled on the phone. Priorities, right? Their marriage lasted less than a year.
