Well folks...the name is Typhanye. The "e" is crucial, as are the "ph" and don't forget the first and last "y's".

We won't even discuss the numerous mispronunciations, misspellings and mistakes. It's pronounced Tiffany but not spelled that way, nor is it Tiffani, Tifane, Tifany....

I have been called Tyrone, Typhoon...by teachers for Pete's sake.

Sometimes, when I am really tired and fed up, I just let folks spell it any old way they feel. The major indicator is when I say "Typhanye" and the person says "how do you spell that?" I think "dang, if you didn't even try the old T-i-f-f-a-n-y routine, then I can't even be concerned with trying to get you to be down with my itsh."

It's a pretty common name but spelled differently. Moms was trying to be creative all up in the city of Compton...shoo!

The strange thing is I am really what my friends call the "anti-Tiffany." Tiffany means princess...of course and I think my mom intended on me being really prissy (and it worked for the most part until I got older) now I tend to be a bit rough around the edges at times...loud, vulgar, crazy, you name it,
