I know at Ole Miss a girlfriend of a member might not be selected in case that couple every breaks up, you know there could be a conflict or the sweetheart might not be liked. I wouldn't say it's never happen here before because I do know a few girls who were sweethearts while they dated someone. I was nominated for a fraternity here at Ole Miss, Phi Kappa Psi, when I was a junior. I didn't hang out there, I just knew a member from classes. I was actually dating a Sig Ep at the time. It was a great honor to be nominated. They were so kind to me and invited me to a sweetheart dinner and it was so neat. However, they didn't pick me, but my AOII sisters, another AOII was chosen, so as long as AOII was representing I was happy! I mean afterall, it wasn't like I dated a guy there or hung out there.
My advice would be what our other sisters have said, just be yourself and don't over do it. Let your inner beauty and your own charcteristics shine!
