IMO, I see why the teacher asked for Private Sessions because the teacher was speaking with Kelly and before the poor child could answer, Maxine was answering the questions and I don't feel the teacher could properly evaluate the child with Maxine butting in everytime she asked Kelly a question.
I think the teacher is a bit extreme with only offering the full scholarship for these two semesters and basically forcing Kenny and Maxine to make a rush and haste decision. If the teacher is really interested in helping Kelly then IMO, I believe the scholarship should be open or at least give them more than 24 hours to think it over......because that is their daughter and as parents you hate to let go.....
