You might not want to hear this but... with my first pregnancy I was sick the entire time. I was still puking the day I delievered my son. I would puke all the time-- but the benefit was excellent aim. I can stand up and hit the trash can, toilet, whatever. I could even drive and puke into a cup or out the car window while driving.
The second pregnancy I was sick to my stomach all the time-- puked all but months 6-7-8.
I would eat peaches with the heavy syrup--the sugary syrup will coat your stomach. Sucking on peppermints seemed to work for me. Also sucking on ice cubes helped alot!
