In the last instance where I had to use one of those, I just went with a simple "NO"

I liked it because not only did it apply to me not picking up his calls, but whenever I thought of calling him, it was at least a semi-deterrent. You know, having to look up the big "NO" in your phone book. Sometimes it worked. Depended on the alcohol consumption.
