Thumbs up Stay Strong

Hey I know how you feel.
About 3 years ago I started from the same situation. I recruited a bunch of women who seemed to have been interested in starting or joining a sorority. We decided to look around at our options. Starting an organization right now is very difficult. ther is so much competition for members and there is always something about having some history and mystery go with the whole experience, believe me there is nothing like the pledge experience. We had a number outside sororities give presentations. IN the end we finally found a group of women that really stood out in all aspects. Well finding a group you like is just the start of it. Everyone flaked out! The recruitment process started again from scratch. we were under the club name "Truly Unique"and one of the girls that finished pledging with us graduated that spring. It was just two of us for the longest time,so don't give up. 2 years later we finally got a chapter established and even though it is still hard, you have to believe in what you are working for. I am a Founder of the Gamma chapter ,I love my girls and what helped make the bond we now have is that they saw my commitment and I saw theirs! I am now a Gamma and phewwwww, rush week is coming up again. In the beggining you have to do a little bit of everything. What I know got me the best results was hand picking. I approached women in leadership positions in student government and in other clubs. If they already show commitment then chances are they will be commited to your sisterhood also.
I hope this encourages you. Keep going girl, I know you will do great. P.S. You sound like Gamma Materiel
