i would also not allow my child to name themself, or have an older sibling name them for me....unless that child was old enough to know that "claire" is a name, and "tic tac" is
not...
my mom was named by her 9 yr old sister who was spoiled b/c my g-parents thought she would be their only child (rough pregnancy), and they wanted to make her "feel better"....*coughs* stupid! *coughs, coughs*
so, my mom is named after a very popular doll at the time....the "terri lee" doll......
i will never understand ppl naming their kids "moon" and "starry", etc get a dog. have fun naming
