I just got back from District 1 DLC today...I think it was a much needed boost of ADPi spirit! I know that I am really excited about some of the changes that are being made, especially to the Alpha Education process! Hopefully the other NMCs out there will agree once they learn about it, too
I have a story fom this weekend -- Saturday night, we went out for dinner at a restaurant in Peachtree City. While our group was waiting to be seated, a family walks in and stands behind us. The man starts talking to his mother, asking if there was a college nearby because there were lots of "college kids" at the hotel. A sister and I turned around and told him it was a sorority leadership conference, then the mother asked us what sorority it was... Come to find out, the mother is an ADPi, as well! (U of Pittsburgh? She said it was way back in the day when she was in college!)
