Hell, just shoot him in the head for all I care. Or send him to prison. For being a child killer, he'd get what was coming to him... if he survives.
Yep... he sure won't last long in Raiford (the Florida State Prison), unless he is put in isolation from the rest of the general population. People with 'short eyes' (child molesters and murderers) don't last very long in the clink.

I first found out while getting ready to go to bed in the early hours of the morning. Poor girl! I hope that he is brought to justice!

Monster. Repeat offender. Same thing.

Maybe not if you've been in jail twice for stealing or something...but repeated kidnappings???

Destroy him like they do to those dogs that have rabies. Usually I'm all for giving them life sentences w/out parole and making their lives a living hell....but this guy obviously wouldn't even feel bad.

The news up here in SC was talking about how some people were saying that some people, like Carlie, were asking to be kidnapped and/or raped/molested by the clothes they wear. I was like holy crap! no one deserves or asks to be kidnapped or raped/molested based on the clothes they wear. No one asks for that.

I feel so bad for Carlie's family because #1 the obvious and #2 this guy is a repeat offender. He got off from the kidnapping charges in 1997 because he said that he was grabbing her to prevent her from trying to run into the street. The lady he grabbed in 1997 was in her mid-20s. Any 20-something with even a 1/4 of a brain knows not to run out into a busy street until traffic has cleared. duh! I think they got 12 of the stupidest, most ignorant people to serve on that jury. The lady got away because she jumped out of his car and a nearby car's passengers drove her to the police department.

The evening news here said he's being held in isolation in the prison "for security reasons." After his trial, they shouldn't do that anymore. I'm sure his fellow prisoners will just LOVE making his acquaintance. Child molesters usually have a pretty short shelf life in prison.

Better yet though, my vote is to handcuff the guy to a telephone pole near that car wash and let the neighborhood handle the problem. Eye for an eye wasn't a totally bad idea.

Sadly enough a lot of South Carolinians think that way...The thing that really puzzles me though is why she just walked off with him. I'm thinking she might have known him from somewhere else.

My heart sank to the floor when they announced that she had been found dead.

Actually it's three different chemicals that are used in the lethal injection process:

The first is a saline solution to keep the veins open.

The second is an anesthetic, sodium thiopenthal (better known by its well known trade name Pentothal, aka 'truth serum').

The third and final injection is pancuronium bromide, which paralyzes the heart.

Some states use potassium chloride as an additional chemical.

More info about the lethal injection process:
