Reasons why people might join a GLO.....
(categorized into "honorable" and "not so honorable", but reasons nonetheless)....
Honorable reasons for wanting to join a GLO:
-Make friends at school
-Be more involved on campus
-Be more involved with philanthropy, etc.
-As an alum, be able to move to a different city where you may not know anyone, but instantly have people that are your your "brothers" or "sisters" who you can network through, make friends and business contacts, etc.
Not so honorable reasons for wanting to join a GLO:
-Meet members of the opposite sex
-Parking close to campus (yes, I do know of a girl who cut a house at U of Toronto as they had no parking)
