Question Famous Gamma Phi's

Hi Girls...I'm from the University of California, Santa Barbara Chapter (Delta Psi) and for our RUSH and COB we want to make a list of famous Gamma Phi Betas. We haven't found any that are super famous except for Kirstie Alley. Does anybody know of any actresses, musicians or celebrities that were Gamma Phi's in their collegiate days? Please let me know as soon as possible!!!!!

That information can be found on the Gamma Phi Beta International website.

Kirstie Alley is NOT a Gamma Phi.

Our website is woefully incomplete;
I have done some research (it's a wierd hobby, I know)
and here are just a few famous Gamma Phis:

Miss Oklahoma 2003 (top 10 finalist in Miss America) – Kelley Scott
Miss USA 1991 - Kelli McCarty (Kansas)
Jennifer Dunn - Republican Congresswoman from the state of Washington
Cloris Leachman - actress, won 1971 Oscar for "The Last Picture Show"
Susan Howard - actress, played Ray Krebs' wife on "Dallas"
Margaret & Jessie Wilson -- daughters of President Wilson
Hope Summers - actress, played one of Aunt Bee's friends on Mayberry RFD
Joan & Jayne Knoerzer - the original DoubleMint gum twins in TV commercials
Lynn Martin - former US secretary of Labor
Mary Wells Ashworth - Pultizer Prize winning author (1958)

Seems that I read somewhere that children's author Maud Hart Lovelace (Betsy-Tacy-and Tib books) was a Gamma Phi in either Minnesota or Wisconsin.

Her books are fairly autobiograpical and I remember in one book, her older sister pledges a sorority, which in actuality was Gamma Phi Beta. I don't remember what it was called in the book.

Working in a library has its advantages.
